Hello!! Dou you know if the Java stack in mandatory in a BW 7.3 in order to use the Web templates?? (WAD).

Hi there,

if you not going to use JAVA stack in 73 you can still access web web templates via ABAP web reporting. As before in 3.x version.

Many thanks for your help sapper! In our BW 7.3 system, we can still access web templates via ABAP (but Web template in 3.x Version). If we migrate the web template with the WAD migration tool, we have the web template both in ABAP version (3.x web template) and JAVA version (7.3 version).
So, the only way to use the migrated web templates is with the JAVA stack installed.
If we dont want to install the Java stack, there is only one chance...keep the web templates in 3.x version in our bw 7.3 system, is all right? So, we would have the BW 7.3 but the web templates in 3.x version...
Am i correct?
